…and elimination of deductions.

Let’s start with:

-eliminating the mortgage deduction (A brilliant move during a housing slump)

-eliminating deductions for charitable donations

-eliminating deductions for health care (exempting unions of course. Is that fair? Obama has to pay back the unions that supported him though)

-cap and trade (not a tax per se but will have the same effect. Do you think businesses will pass the increase on to you?)

-VAT tax (A federal sales tax on all purchases)

-Letting the top tax rates go back up for individuals earning over 0,000( Bush tax cuts expire)

-And raising the corporate tax rate.

What else you got?
Melissa you have your head so far in the sand it’s amazing you can come up and use a computer

I don’t care. I am liberal and I am in the middle of income, and Obama promised tax cuts to 95% of us. Lets tax rich folks.

    Go Obama!

Why cons give me thumbs down and call me a fool? What I tell you is true. Obama promised tax cut to us, to you and me. Here is proof that we will pay less taxes:

"We have passed a broad and sweeping tax cut for 95 percent of American workers," Obama told reporters in the Old Executive Office building

Don’t you love your tax cuts?

No. And neither can anyone else. Do you think anybody actually reads these things?

They’ve also already passed higher taxes on cigarettes and have proposed higher taxes on beer, wine, liquor, and sugary drinks.

  4. Toxic Panduh says:

You forgot all the "hidden" taxes that people don’t normally pay attention to. Alcohol, Cigarettes, Cell Phone, Airline tickets, using more then 3 sheets of toilet paper to wipe your rear end etc.

These are back door ways in which the masses of clueless (the 95% of people Obama said wouldn’t see tax increases) DO in fact get taxed at a greater rate. But hey, these tards have their heads shoved up so far Obama’s rear end that the poo covers their eyes.

The propaganda coming from you people is total nonsense. The problem with you neo cons is you never have a clear boundary. Just like Rubey tuesday.

You left off the proposed raise in fuel taxes, thrusting $4.00 per gallon prices up our collective asses.

And, let’s not forget, we already paid trillions in fuel taxes to pay for the roads only to give trillions more from the stimulus package.

The biggest tax of all is the health care tax. 50 million people without insurance, but the forget to mention 35 million of those people are here illegally; and 9.5 million are in between jobs, in probationary periods of new jobs, or are at introductory positions designed to be part time student positions. So that means these idiots want to overhaul the best health care system in the world for 5.5 million people. You would have to be a moron to think this is good idea, and I know most liberals think this is a good idea, so read into it what you want.
