I have to be honest, though, while Pres. Obama adopted the meat of McCain’s proposal, he sure made it less inclusive and more regressive. Being some DINO Mr Obama proves to us once again.

John McCain proposed 00 tax credit to EVERYONE for purchasing health care.
If you are wealthy and in the 38% tax bracket that would give you 00/38% = 94 worth of health care free to everyone.
If you are middle class and in the 25% tax bracket that would give you 00/25% = ,000 worth of health care free to everyone.
See? Wealthy people would enjoy less tax exemptions. That’s progressive.

Now goes Mr. Obama actual proposal to put a cap on health care tax deductions. Needless to say that people who by health care insurance privately do not need to apply. This is how Obama encourages small businesses in their mission of jobs creation. But lets forget about such small irrelevant things.

There is now 100% tax detectability of health care group policy provided by employers. Obama wants to put 00 cap on this tax deductible benefits. Meaning that compared to McCain’s plan wealthy people whose tax deduction would be only 94 anyway under McCain will get no tax hit, but those in the middle class will be liable for the difference ,000 – ,000 = ,000 to lose its tax deductible and hence pay ,000 x 25% = ,000 extra tax.

So much for taxing the rich.

There are more and I admit that some of my input data are not accurate, but its only because

a) The liberal media ignores the misdeeds of Barack Obama
b) The plans are still in the making – and this is the best point to stop them.

The liberals will never understand what you’re trying to tell them

If you look at the budget cuts he is asking for most of them are the same ones that Bush asked to be cut in last years budget as well !

I can see you spend lots of time thinking up this garbage. first of all

McCain proposal was a $5,000 credit that was to be paid to the insurance companies to offset the cost of changing over to the private insurance. there was nothing that was for the actual person purchasing the insurance, only money for the big insurance companies, the typical republican way.

Next, you always have these facts and figures, but never have a link to these so called "Proposals" that you claim Obama is doing. anybody can get on here and say oh, "Obama is moving all the people from California to the new moon base he is building with tax payers money on the next space shuttle flight". But, that doesn’t make it true.

edit: you can "thumbs down" all you want. you posting some blogs to support yourself doesn’t help and the fact that you said "There are more and I admit that some of my input data are not accurate" doesn’t help your cause. and to try to blame it on your so called "liberal media". you still have not address the fact that John McCain proposals was not a 3,000 credit, but a 5,000 credit to be paid to the insurance companies.

Obama administration’s health care legislation doesn’t exist yet,

do you have a link to back up what you are saying???????

You don’t quite understand either plan, but let me go over a few things your missing.

In mclame’s plan which you have 100 percent wrong. you had to go out and get health insurance and then what would happen is that you would get a rebate up to 2500 paid directly to the provider if you file taxes as an individual or 5000 if you file as married, regardless of dependants. This would be as an alternative to employer provided health care, not in a addition to. In reality McCain’s plan would cost most families 3-5K per year. It was a direct pay to the insurance provider, go to fact check.org and look it up.

Source? I have not seen this proposal.

Also, 3000 tax credit only reduces your taxes by 3000. Why are dividing the tax credit by the tax rate?

It is Obama’s way of lessening disagreement while using the Leftist incremental approach to totalitarianism.
If you go along with Him, the it is on to the NEXT step to eliminating more of your freedom.
